Sometimes there are people who come into your life at just the right time —
Amanda and Daryn are two of those people for me. Two teachers who currently live in Egypt and work at a Canadian school who just so happen to be madly in love, and celebrating that love with a wedding at Cambium Farms in Caledon next August. After an incredibly long wedding season filled to the brim with challenges, shooting their engagement session in Scarborough was a well-needed reminder of why it is that I truly love my job.
We chose our engagement session at the very last minute after our first choice fell through. I had the Scarborough Bluffs saved up for something special for quite some time, and only found out shortly after making the recommendation to them that Daryn grew up only around the corner from this incredible spot and used to spend all of his free time here as a child. We spent the entire evening reminiscing on old stories, learning about each other, and running barefoot along the water while happy tourists looked at us, completely awestruck. Needless to say, August can’t come fast enough, and I am still on cloud nine from my time with these two.
