“I do, take two”
Let me just start off by saying that these two people are some of the best secret keepers that have ever lived. Sarah and Brad were technically already married before this beautiful day that I am about to share with you. In fact, they secretly wed two years prior to this day and somehow managed to keep it between themselves before they decided to host a more formal wedding with all of their family and friends from across the globe.
If any couple deserves the perfect wedding day, it is Sarah and Brad.
Sarah is an incredibly talented artist (seriously, just wait until you see her meticulously designed details below!) who grew up in the town right next to my childhood home. She moved to San Francisco to pursue her MFA at the San Francisco Art Institute, and since her home base is now on the complete opposite side of the continent, we never actually had an opportunity to meet until the week before her wedding when we decided to take a quick walk the grounds at the Peacock Gap Golf Club together for the first time.
That first meeting with Sarah and Brad felt like meeting up with old friends.
It may have been the shared Canadian humour, or the fact that Brad looks a little like Corey from Boy Meets World, but I immediately felt like I was back home with two people who I know and adore. They are some of the most patient, kind, and genuinely warm people who I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and just being able to see this perfect “round two” of their wedding come to fruition is an absolute blessing.
S + B — Thank you so much for having me as a part of your day! I can’t even begin to express how thankful I am to you both, and I expect a visit the next time you’re in Ontario!
