PHOTOGRAPHING ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS, FAMILY SESSIONS, AND ANNIVERSARIES FOR OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS MAY BE MY FAVOURITE THING EVER
So when my friend (and another talented photographer) Emily contacted me about photographing her and her sweetheart of a boyfriend Ty, I was absolutely over the moon! What makes these even more special for me, is that they didn’t wait to have their photographs taken at a specific event like after an engagement or a wedding. I’m such a huge advocate for having images taken to celebrate the everyday moments instead of just the milestones, and couples sessions like this one are exactly why! It makes me so thankful to know that years from now, they will be able to look back on these photographs before any of the “big moments.”
Emily started off our conversation with “is there anywhere that you have ever been dying to shoot?” and without any hesitation, Tobermory was my choice. Looking at these images has me in almost full disbelief that they were shot only a few hours North of the city. The insanely blue waters and smooth white rocks had me feeling like we somehow took a wrong turn and ended up in Greece. I can’t wait for more Tobermory engagement sessions in the coming year!

Spending the night capturing those “big smiles that take over your whole faces” will forever be one of my favourite memories. I can’t wait to watch your love grow even more over the years!
