I AM SO BEYOND EXCITED TO SHARE THIS SCOTSDALE FARM ENGAGEMENT SESSION WITH YOU ALL TODAY!
Since photographing our own family session at Scotsdale Farm last year, this sweet little hidden gem has become one of my absolute favourite places to photograph engagement sessions. It is one of those places that really comes to life with glowy summer sun, and we definitely were lucky enough to have during Natalie and Josh’s August engagement session! These two were so easy to photograph together and have such a natural playful chemistry that is really hard not to just fall in love with. I can’t wait for their wedding next year at Honsberger Estate!
From the bride-to-be, Natalie… Josh and I met at an event at Steam Whistle Brewery introduced by a close friend, but it wasn’t until three years later that we re-connected through social media and went on our first date! A little ways down the road and he proposed during a romantic picnic at the top of Mono Cliffs in Caledon with the most beautiful scenery surrounding us! It was such an incredible moment that he managed to capture using a drone flown by a family friend! We popped champagne and celebrated with the most delicious meal that he cooked for us!
EVEN JUST FROM THEIR PROPOSAL STORY, I FEEL LIKE IT IS SO CLEAR HOW IMPORTANT THE OUTDOORS ARE TO THESE TWO!
When planning their engagement session, we put a lot of importance on not only making sure that their engagement photos were very natural and full of candid moments but that they also took place in a location that suited them as a couple. When we landed on Scotsdale Farm as our choice, everything really fell into place! It was such a perfect setting for them to have an evening together and the scenery really brought out all of the best parts about them as a couple.
