WITH THE START OF THE BRAND NEW ELORA MILL WEDDING SEASON ON THE WAY, I’M GETTING SO EXCITED AT THE THOUGHT OF SHOOTING MORE IN MY OWN BACKYARD!
When Josh and Jori first met with me over coffee to chat about their wedding day, they brought up the possibility of shooting their engagement session in Elora. Being only about five minutes from my house, I was obviously selfishly excited that I’d have the shortest commute ever, but it also gave me the chance to scout out locations in a town that I love so much for so many reasons.
Since we moved to Fergus almost two years ago, Elora has quickly become one of Stephen and my favourite places! We’re both in the town either strolling the gorgeous almost European looking streets or grabbing a beer at The Elora Brewery at least once a week. Needless to say, I am so excited for The Elora Mill to open up after it’s long-awaited renovation this Spring so that I have yet another excuse to photograph this town and all of the little nooks we’ve found since the move!
JOSH AND JORI ARE BY FAR ONE OF THE SWEETEST COUPLE’S I’VE EVER MET
We spent this warm Fall evening with them and their two dogs who quickly became Stephen’s best buddies with the help of some of Gus and Ollie’s favourite treats. Some of these photos are actually taken at the secret swimming spot that we take Gus to in the summer! It was so much fun watching their two pups hop in the water with the same wide-eyed expressions that our two give us every single time! I seriously can’t wait for these two to tie the knot in August and just know that it is going to be one of the most fun weddings of my 2018 season!
