LARISSA AND BEN’S LANGDON HALL WEDDING WAS EASILY ONE OF THE MOST INCREDIBLE WEDDING DAYS THAT I HAVE BEEN A PART OF FOR SO MANY REASONS.
This absolutely stunning Langdon Hall wedding was beautifully planned in a way that emphasized the classic architecture of the classic estate home while bringing out the warmth of the stunning summer house chapel’s exposed wood elements.
I was beyond thrilled to work with two of my favourite local Guelph vendors and good friends, Barbara Grace Weddings and Blooms and Flora, who worked side by side to bring the day to life. Robyn created the most gorgeous loose floral arrangements that combined classic white blooms and rough greenery to create a look and feel that will remain timeless throughout years of looking back on their day!
BEN HAD SUCH A SWEET AND HEARTWARMING RESPONSE TO SEEING HIS BRIDE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Photographing the couple’s first look was by far the most impactful moment of the day for me. Langdon Hall has some of the most beautiful and well-maintained gardens I’ve ever photographed. These little nooks always make for the perfect backdrops for a private moment.
Looking back on their wedding day immediately brings me back to one specific moment when Larissa was standing in the garden waiting for their bridal party to arrive. Ben took a step back just to get a full picture of her in her wedding dress and quietly said: “I just want to remember this.” It was one of those moments that seemed to stand still, and even as a bystander it was so clear how much love was present between the two of them.
