Torry and Alex’ ten-year wedding celebration was a perfect reminder of why it’s important to roll with the punches
Since both the couple and myself are not from Prince Edward County, Torry and I were in touch all morning while driving hours in the rain and trying to stay optimistic about a pretty grim weather forecast. Thankfully, we both arrived to the county earlier than we expected. So, instead of following the timeline that we had planned, we decided to hop back in the car and head to Sandbanks Provincial Park for portraits a full hour earlier while there was a pocket of clear skies in the forecast.
The most insane part? Immediately following their exchange of vows, the skies turned into one of the most beautiful golden sunsets we’ve ever witnessed – a moment that we otherwise would have completely missed if we weren’t fully open to changing plans and being flexible with what the world threw at us!
After soaking everything in, Torry and Alex celebrated a full decade of marriage at Wander the Resort where they spent the evening playing card games and roasting s’mores by the fire. It was cozy, heartfelt, and a reflection of who they are as a couple. Torry and Alex’s love story is a testament to embracing the unexpected, and being there to capture it all was a true honor.
