Muskoka weddings are one of my favourite things to photograph —

So when one of my best friends who also happens to be a fine art wedding photographer proposed the idea of photographing some portraits for her at her family cottage just North of Muskoka, near Parry Sound, I was over the moon! Allie and I teamed up alongside one of my favourite makeup artists, Sarah Smith, and drove to Northern Ontario for the day all of our fur babies in tow!

What resulted is easily my favourite portrait session to date. We spent the day lakeside with her dog Kip and my two monsters Gus and Ollie — who kept me sprinting the whole time while they ran around the yard chasing her cat Todd and knocking over my Somersby every time I tried to take a sip — then ended the day with some relaxed and effortless portraits on the property at sunset!

Words can’t even properly capture how excited I am for this girl and the leaps she is taking in her business! I genuinely don’t know where I would be without our daily group texts alongside Alyssa Wodabek and their endless encouragement and support. Allie, I am so beyond flattered to have had the honour of photographing these images for you! I’m so happy that they capture everything that you are about and all of the places that you are headed in the future! Love you always, girl!
