THERE ARE DEFINITELY WEDDINGS EACH YEAR THAT YOU ARE EXTRA EXCITED ABOUT, AND THIS SILVERTIP RESORT WEDDING WAS DEFINITELY ONE OF THOSE FOR ME THIS YEAR!

Nikita and Mike are actually both from Ontario but decided that they wanted to celebrate the beginning of their marriage in one of the most beautiful places in the world. They took their closest friends and family with them to Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Alberta for a few days of celebrations, and after seeing these photos I feel like half of my brides will want to change their plans and do the same!

One of my favourite aspects of their day is that they used a mixture of Ontario and Alberta vendors to make it happen. There really couldn’t have been a more amazing team on board! With Signature Weddings by Ashley planning and executing the gorgeous event design, Mountain Beauties absolutely slaying the hair and makeup for the day, and a dress from one of my Toronto favourites, Sash and Bustle, it was just destined to be a jaw-dropping day.

 

THIS WEDDING WEEKEND WILL ALWAYS HAVE A SUPER SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART.

Since I would have to fly out for their wedding and spend some time away from home, I figured that bringing Stephen along as an assistant would be a fun way to get in a teeny tiny bit of exploring together! What I didn’t expect, though, is that the day after this wedding would be the day that he asked me to be his wife. I couldn’t have imagined our engagement taking place in any other way, and I absolutely love that it was because of one of my couples that Stephen and I started our next chapter together in Alberta!
