I AM SO BEYOND EXCITED TO BE BLOGGING THE FIRST OF WHAT I’M SURE WILL BE MANY, MANY 2018 ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS!
I’ve obviously been blogging semi-consistently over the past few months, but it is always the best feeling when I’m in wedding season and can share work almost immediately after it has been delivered to the couple (instead of hoarding it to share over the winter months). Spring is officially in full force, and along with this gorgeous weather comes the most beautiful evenings spent photographing couples in love!
I was so lucky to start off my season with a few weeks jam-packed full of nights like this! One of which was alongside Jenna and Lewis at their family home in Erin, followed by some time at one of my favourite locations, Scotsdale Farm!
JENNA AND I ACTUALLY WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL TOGETHER IN GEORGETOWN, SO HAVING A GEORGETOWN ENGAGEMENT SESSION SEEMED WEIRDLY FITTING.
I already gushed about this over Instagram when I shared a little preview of their session, but one of my favourite parts of my job is being able to use it as an excuse to pop back into peoples lives and celebrate the big moments together! We hadn’t seen each other for almost a full decade, so catching up on each other’s lives and spending hours chatting about our careers, travels, and love stories was the coolest experience!
Jenna and Lewis, you two are clearly such a perfect fit for each other! Thank you so much for having me play a tiny role in this exciting time in your lives! Next time, let’s not wait another nine years!
