If my own wedding day was any indication, it’s clear that I’m a sucker for European weddings. A little bit of old-world charm goes a long way! This was the exact love that sparked the vision for this colourful, jewel-toned Graydon Hall wedding inspiration. Any time that Vivian Lyttle Events reaches out with a concept that is this bold and painterly, I have to be on board!
Pulling inspiration from her visit to France in the fall was the perfect starting point! Vivian designed this shoot with traditional Dutch Masters paintings in mind. Of course, textural elements with a European feel were key in her design process. Additionally, coming back to a traditional oil-painting colour palette ensured that every element stayed cohesive.

What brought this Graydon Hall wedding inspiration over-the-top was the styling additions that complimented the European architecture. For instance, the cloche at the centre of the table. Using less traditional pieces like preserved butterflies, eggplants, and mushrooms perfectly accented the decor from Simply Beautiful Decor.
On the whole, this editorial perfectly demonstrated that even a local wedding can feel destination. Using intentional styling and thoughtful planning, looking through these images should feel like a stroll through a French museum.
