I don’t even think that there are words to express the love I feel for the Elora wedding inspiration!

There are few things that speak to my heart the way that flowers in the spring do. Especially the sweet smell of lilacs, which was the jumping point for an entire evening. We set out to design this Elora wedding inspiration for the soft and feminine bride, and I think we accomplished that goal! Working together with some of my absolute favourite local Ontario vendors, we executed what is truly a June bride’s dream!

Something that I’ve always made a point of doing in the last few years is always photographing real couples as models for styled shoots.

You might remember our couple, Mira and Dane, from this apple orchard engagement session back in 2017! They are newlyweds who tied the knot last summer and had just welcomed a brand new puppy into their family! The best part about photographing them for this Elora wedding inspiration was that it became about them reminiscing on their own wedding day. This shoot is truly a reflection of their first year of marriage rather than just a portfolio piece. On top of that, their little chocolate lab, Eddie, completely stole the show. I’ll never forget watching him run around the open fields on his first real trip outside of the city!

We styled Mira in a lace dress full of incredible texture from Emmy Mae Bridal. The dress was both a show-stopping focal point on its own and a soft backdrop for the spring blossom bouquet created by Forever Wildfield. Ultimately, these subtle details were brought to life by all of the stationery details that Flourish Calligraphy designed. In particular, the stunning menus that were printed on beautiful muted oatmeal linen. These menus became our favourite aspect of the tablescape. Placed underneath subtle blush and gold decor pieces from Simply Beautiful Decor, they added a necessary organic element.
