When you finally get to shoot at Ruthven Park, it calls for a little rule breaking —

I wouldn’t necessarily say that I have “rules” when it comes to blogging, but there are two things that I seem to do very little of around here. I never post blogs on weekends, and I never post photos from headshot portrait sessions. Today, I’m breaking both of those little habits thanks to a late start to my wedding today, and a gorgeous photographer named Crystal Hahn who trusted me to take a few lifestyle portraits of her for her new website launch!

I immediately developed a girl crush on this woman from the second I showed up to her home in Cayuga and she already had a bottle of white wine chilled and waiting on her kitchen counter for us to sip before we ran off down the street to shoot this session with her and her husband. I’m so excited to share a few images from our evening together today, and am just equally as excited to see where this new rebrand takes her business in the coming year!
